Missions Month 2024

October is Missions Month at ACAC! For the next four weeks, we will focus our attention on the mission Jesus gave to His church to “Go, make disciples of all nations.”

“To the ends of the earth” is the theme of Missions Month 2024 at ACAC. Yes, we are called to share Christ’s love with our neighbors, but our Lord has given us an assignment that’s even bigger. He’s commissioned us to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth… to every people, tribe and tongue on our planet.

Where do we begin? How can we ever make a difference in reaching the whole world with this gospel? These are some of the difficult questions we’ll be tackling throughout the next 4 weeks of Missions Month.

All of Jesus for All The World

This class is open to anyone who wants to better understand the biblical rationale behind our passion and commitment to love people where they are among all the nations of the earth. In addition to answering the “Why” question, however, we’ll also explore the timely question of “How” we can do missions well? How do we do missions in a way that offers the love of Jesus to people with little gospel access, while avoiding the western colonial influences of past generations.

All of Jesus for All the World is a primer to help our congregation continue to do the God-honoring work of missions in a God-honoring way! The 6-week class will be offered live on Sunday mornings in Robinson Chapel starting on Oct 13 (at 10 am), and, also, on-line as a Zoom class on Thursday evenings starting on Oct 17 (at 7pm).

More than 3 billion people (40% of the world’s population) are still unreached. We all have a role to play in fulfilling the Great Commission- whether it be through ongoing prayer, generous giving, serving the needs of immigrants and refugees divinely placed in our path, or careful consideration when the voice of the Spirit calls us to “go.”
