We have a broad, 130-year history of working diligently to expand the gospel of the Kingdom beyond its borders.
In recent years, we felt the Holy Spirit was leading us to expand into new neighborhoods of faith in obedience to our mission of “following Jesus in diverse community.” Steel Valley is the area we believe God is calling us to serve. It is our desire to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom with our Steel Valley neighbors.
Meet Our Campus Pastor
Travaughn Groce affectionately known as Pastor Tray, is a native of New York City, with more than a decade of experience in serving diverse educational communities. Combining his training as a clinician and lecturer, along with his background in psychology and theological training, Pastor Tray is wired and driven to see people discover who they are in Christ!
Pastor Tray is a firm believer in the truth of scriptures, and desires to see believers grow and follow the unction of God’s presence within their lives. He has a passion for creating tools and resources to help people put language to “Why you were born?”.
Tray earned his B.A is in psychology, and M.A is in theology from Alliance Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Psychology with the focus of Trauma Counseling & Community Care from Liberty University. What excites him most are not accomplishments but being a friend of God, and helping others to walk in that friendship as well.
